I will get into some great ways to break this habit here, but one of my friends was frustrated with being the only one who followed what she believes to be the rules of the group. After a while of being the only one who followed the rules, I noticed that my friend was becoming the only one who didn’t. I realized I was the only one who didn’t.

The habit of always following the rules can be broken by asking yourself whether you are actually following the rules and if you are, how you are actually enforcing them. Sometimes it’s easy to find yourself being the one following the rules and other times it’s hard to figure out why you are being the only one following the rules.

The rules of rules can be broken by the simple act of asking yourself if you are actually following them. This is where the habit of always following the rules comes in. It’s what we call “the first rule” of the rule-following mindset. That means if you just ask yourself, “If I’m following this rule, am I actually following it?”, then you are not being really honest. You are not really being a good person.

So to test that habit, you have to ask yourself, “If I am following the rules, am I really following them?” The answer is probably no. Of course you aren’t being a good person, but the question is, “Am I really following the rules?” So to answer that, we have to look at the second rule.

When you are following the rules, you are following your own personal rules. The first rule of the rule-following mindset is to make sure you aren’t following rules that are not for you. That means if you ask yourself, Am I following this rule, I should, then you probably aren’t.

However, if you are following rules that are actually for you, then you are following rules that you would like to follow. In other words, you are following your own rules. In this case, you are choosing to follow the rules of the game. So, if the question is Am I following these rules, I should, then you probably arent.

You can also use the ‘is’ form of your verb and then put’should’ after the verb to indicate you are following a rule and not that you are following your own rules. However, if you see a rule that doesn’t make sense, it might be better to just use the ‘is’ form just to make sure you have the information you are looking for.

This is a great question and one that we get a lot. In fact, its one of the most asked questions we get.

Theres no need to ask it. Use is and ser to indicate youre following a rule.
