It is unfortunate that the majority of our city council members are elected and paid by Seattle City Council. I don’t believe this is the case for anyone else in the country. But it is unfortunately true that many city council members have to be paid to do their job. How much do they make? Well, I paid the minimum wage of $11,700 to work for the Seattle City Council. This is not a small amount.
Most of the council members make far less that the minimum wage and they all have jobs that are tied to the city council. How could they possibly be making that much money? It’s a lot of hours they have to work on a daily basis.
It is a fact that Seattle city council members make an average of $24,000 a year. While this is a pretty respectable average, it is still a significant amount of money. If you are a council member and you can’t afford to live in the city then you have to cut the check.
Seattle has a reputation as a city with a lot of corruption, at least among the populace. For example, if you go to the airport and ask what is the minimum wage in Seattle, you are likely to get some very confused and uneducated responses. The answer is the minimum wage is $14.25. That’s not to say that all council members are corrupt. On the contrary, there are a very few council members with the ability to do what they want because they are extremely wealthy. But these council members are not just corrupt. They are selfish. They don’t care about the fact that you have a family to support. They have no regard for you as a person. And worst of all, they are unable to put a value on what it would mean to you if they did care.
The city council is nothing but a government rent-a-crowd. Its job is to keep the rich rich people in office so they can continue to make more money. And if anyone dares to tell them that they are wasting their time, they call them on it and say that they have no idea what the hell he is talking about. They are blind.

The city council is a group of people who are elected by the people, and they are supposed to be representative of the people. But there are some people on the council who have been paid to do the bidding of wealthy people, so when one of the city’s most powerful people tells them to do something, they do it.

A few weeks ago, the editor who was fired from his position as the editor of the Seattle Times, John Cook, was found dead.
John Cook was the editor of the Seattle Times in the early 2000s and had a history of issues with the paper, notably a piece that suggested that the local Democratic Party had been infiltrated by a group known as the “Friends of Bill Clinton.” A few years later, the same editor was found to have been caught on tape admitting to fabricating information, including a claim that a Republican constituent of his was an informant who’d been helping him steal votes.
