I’m looking for work.
The term “looking for work” might sound like someone is looking for a job, but in this case it means someone is looking for a job that they can do for a living. That’s why I’d say that “looking for work” is a positive thing.
If you are looking for work, you are not alone. I have been looking for work for ten years, and the number of people who aren’t looking for work is probably higher than you think. Sometimes people don’t apply for jobs because they don’t think they’re right for it. But if you don’t think you’re right for the job, I’d say it’s a good thing. Another thing that might discourage people from applying for jobs or changing jobs, is that if you do get hired, it may be your first job that you dont like. I mean, it’s possible that you were hired because the job description wasnt right for you. Sometimes people dont apply for jobs because they think theyll be fired.
Actually, that’s not true. I have a couple of acquaintances who have been hired on, and have had some really, really bad experiences with companies. I know that this is not a very common thing, but people do it all the time. The best part is that if you dont like how youre working, you can usually change jobs without a problem, so it doesnt matter if you were hired because your skills arent good enough or because the company hired someone else.
