If your home is ever going to be a destination, it needs to be one that is going to be visited regularly at regular intervals. It doesn’t matter if you’re just going to live there for a while or if it’s your very first time there. The point is that you’re going to want to spend time there, and you’re going to want to bring people and things that get used or stored there.
I know a lot of people who are not sure if their home is going to be something they will ever have a home for. I think most of us would agree that the majority of our homes are, at least temporarily, things we will never have a home for, never mind have for very long. And if it is a home, it should be the home of some kind of meaningful activity or experience.
