There’s no real right or wrong here. I love this recipe and I’d love to hear about it.
The recipe is a little different from most of the other recipes out there. Instead of starting with beef and pork, you start with a can of pork and beans and a bottle of vinegar. It’s a very classic recipe, but just as easy to make at home.
The recipe is really simple. Simply use your favorite barbecue sauce, a can of beans, a bottle of vinegar, and some fresh ground pepper.
I love this recipe because a) it can be done in just 10 minutes from start to finish (which is great for busy weekends) and b) it is very frugal. I believe that it could be made as cheaply as $10. The one thing I would change, though, is that I would start with a whole can of beans. You don’t want to chop the beans, or you end up with a whole jar of beans.
I can’t get enough of the sauce, but I think I would go with a can of black beans and a bottle of white vinegar.
That said, I have to wonder about the white vinegar if you are making a cheap sauce. That stuff is very expensive. And the can of black beans is expensive. And the beans are expensive. And so on.
