YOCLUBWEAR is a social enterprise that promotes the value of design and the arts in the world around it. For a few years now, YOCLUBWEAR has hosted events that have brought together emerging designers, creatives, and entrepreneurs to showcase their work and gain experience in the art of storytelling.
The latest event was held in London last month, and while I was there I was able to interview our resident creative director, Michael Wilson. He’s a designer with an impressive resume, one of the most active members of the YOCLUBWEAR community, and one of the most prolific designers in the business.
Michael also has a degree in theatre from the University of York, so this event was a chance to meet up with some of the other designers that make up YOCLUBWEAR as well, including a few from the YOCLUBWEAR design studio in London. He talked about working on a range of projects and being able to work with his team-members.
Michael was nice enough to bring along some of his YOCLUBWEAR team members for the event. The meeting itself was a chance to have a good time with some of the other YOCLUBWEAR designers. And the one thing that everyone in the room agreed on is that the YOCLUBWEAR style is very well suited for the YOCLUBWEAR community. I mean, we’re not all the same.
I like to think that the YOCLUBWEAR style is based on a more relaxed and friendly version of the work of the British designer Paul Smith. I think the YOCLUBWEAR style might also have a lot to do with the fact that Paul Smith was a designer on the YOCLUBWEAR clothing line.
I think YOCLUBWEAR is just another name for hipster art-punk clothing. I think the YOCLUBWEAR clothing line is a great example for why hipster art-punk clothing is cool. It is a great example of what can be done with more casual clothes. And it’s also an example of what can be done with more artistic clothing.
Paul Smith was a designer on YOCLUBWEAR. He designed it for clothing store, fashion retailer and a big name brand. He designed it for a fashion store and other brands, so it’s an example of what can be done with more visual art-punk clothing.
For example, let’s talk about the second part of the story. My first reaction when I picked up a new YOCLUBWEAR and got a look at the trailer was, “It’s beautiful!” I was like, “I’m so happy for you.” I am sure that the people who got to see it would love it. It’s just beautiful.
Yeah. I was like, “This is just so perfect.” The YOCLUBWEAR looks so damn cool. The designers are very talented. They made a great combination of simple looks and cool fashion. I would recommend them to anyone.
